Founded by Dan Wieden and David Kennedy in 1982, W+K’s global network now comprises 1,400 people, with work spanning every discipline.
With world-class media, design and tech operations, everything W+K produces is driven by creativity. Its core mission is to build strong and provocative relationships between companies and their customers, and it also works hard to create an environment that encourages and supports its team to do their best.
In 2019, it was named in The Sunday Times as one of 100 Best Small Companies to Work For – the UK’s only creative agency to make the list.
At W+K there are multiple initiatives to bring the team together, including lunch and learn sessions, bake-offs, affinity groups, a football team, art outings, interactive window installations and Founder Day adventures.
The industry-leading benefits package includes generous time off, healthcare and flexible working. Plus, creative bursaries are available to help everyone broaden their minds, alongside visiting speakers.
W+K is always looking for interesting talent, and strives to create various pathways to entry. Each year, two to three placement teams are enrolled, on the way to becoming junior creatives.
Additionally, The Kennedys programme gives seven newbie creatives a five-month crash course with the aim of finding out where their spark might take them in a creative career.
The team is always open to offering book crits and many members provide mentoring inside the company and externally.
