Founded in Liverpool in 1998, Uniform started as a team of three university graduates passionate about great design. Over the last 23 years, it has grown and developed into a family of creative businesses that work together and independently on some of the most exciting projects globally.
It employs over 60 specialists in brand, strategy, design, technology, visualisation, film and immersive, whilst working with the best partners across the world to extend its network.
Uniform is committed to building a responsible, sustainable and impactful business. It believes in the power of business as a force for good, and it is committed to delivering long-term impact through people, the planet and profit.
Uniform believes in the power of strategy, creativity and technology to equip businesses to face the future – because while no one can know what’s ahead, we can be ready. It calls this state of readiness “Future Confident.”
“Future Confident” sets the vision and the mission. It guides the team’s values and structures their commitments and initiatives.
Uniform aims to build a responsible, sustainable and impactful business; and alongside the client impact it delivers, the team commits to a better future for people, the planet and profit.
Uniform strives to create a space where everyone feels a sense of belonging.
No matter who you are, your beliefs, background and experiences, you should feel that you work in a culture where you are valued and respected.
This emphasis on culture ensures that the core values are part of the everyday, and something that shapes the team’s thinking and experience.
The benefits of being part of the team range from getting your birthday off and supporting causes that matter, to hybrid and remote working enhanced maternity, paternity and shared parental leave – as well as a holistic wellness package supporting physical and mental wellbeing.
Uniform is committed to offering opportunities to entry-level talent and demonstrates this through paid internships, which often lead to permanent junior positions – in addition to a work experience programme to give young people a flavour of agency life. It also nurtures young talent through its work with partner organisations, and going into schools and colleges to inspire the next generation of creatives.
Employees are encouraged to think beyond work and take opportunities to help inspire others. This could be portfolio reviews, guest lecturing or external mentoring within the partner network.
