Pocko has been collaborating with artists and brands since 1999. Its first project was a series of pocket-sized art books, now featured in the permanent collections at MOMA and the V&A.
Guided by Nicola Schwartz, a fine art graduate from the Royal College of Art, Pocko naturally progressed into representing artists and creative services. It now represents an exciting roster of international talents that span a range of media covering CGI, photography, traditional illustration and more.
Collaboration is at the core of Pocko’s philosophy - the company maintains its original voice in bridging unique talents and brands. Projects range from traditional publishing to digital content, exhibitions, animated films, unconventional content strategies and communication campaigns.
In 2020 it launched a non-profit division, Pocko Social, which is dedicated to using creativity for good causes by working directly with charities, foundations and institutions that tackle social emergencies.
The team is encouraged to involve themselves in all manner of briefs, creative projects and exhibitions. They come from numerous disciplines and backgrounds, creating a culture of learning from one another. Agents in Japan will share experiences with producers in Milan and Berlin, fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
Pocko’s Dalston office is part studio, part gallery: the team offer a unique space to curate exhibitions and events.
Pocko believes that the best way to learn is from experience, which is why every entry-level position involves getting stuck in with a hands-on approach.
You may find yourself closely working with the managing agents and producers, as well as managing your own projects and overseeing briefs.
The team is always on the lookout for fresh, exciting opinions, especially from diverse or underrepresented groups.
