Culture and Benefits

Droga5 – across all of its offices – prides itself on close-knit connections and a strong creative culture. Since the global pandemic forced the teams to swap agency set-ups for living rooms, or pubs for Hangouts, team cohesion and collaboration has become ever more important.

The company makes sure to do a lot of stuff together, simply to bond as a team. Like most agencies, it gets together for weekly updates, as well as for regular parties and celebrations. The agency also holds Teach-Ins, where guest speakers from companies like Twitter, Google, and Snapchat share their perspectives, insights and initiatives. Droga5 ensures that its team are constantly learning, and thereby constantly staying relevant, both for its development and for the benefit of its clients.

Entry-Level Opportunities

Droga5 is passionate about nurturing fresh talent across all departments. For creatives specifically, the creative directors regularly provide book crits and portfolio reviews aimed at juniors seeking feedback for their development. Often, the creative directors will continue to meet with said creatives over the course of their early careers to provide guidance and mentorship.

The company also offers placements for emerging creatives, who are always paid according to the London Living Wage scheme. This runs in collaboration with the top ad schools in the country, who are also dedicated to ensuring that young people are granted the opportunity to get their foot in the door. In addition to this, Droga5’s New York office runs an internship scheme annually; the London agency is currently in the process of putting a similar scheme into practice.
