The team at Cauldron were brought together in 2015 and quickly formed a motley crew of technologists and creatives, united by the potential of their ideas. For Cauldron, sectors like finance and education became a playground where the most adventurous ideas could come to life.
Cauldron never works under a single methodology; they build their methods and approach intuitively around each idea and collaborate with industry partners to ensure the results are beautiful, market-ready and unprecedented.
From 2015 to 2021, Cauldron was an internal design laboratory for Thought Machine, before becoming a fully independent entity in September 2021.
The Cauldron team regard gaming as a powerful platform for transformative change, and use the ‘power of play’ to solve real world problems. Their aim is to create immersive, experience-rich products which challenge people to pick up real-life habits or solve complex world problems together. Cauldron believes it is this gaming mindset that will help people to unlock new powers for use in everyday life.
Cauldron considers itself to be built around an alchemy of people who value the power of kindness at work. The team are proud of their shared values and culture, and are united by their joint imagination, intuition and drive.
Cauldron’s team of creative and technical specialists work tirelessly together to set the benchmarks for creative excellence – all while not taking themselves too seriously. The team strive for honesty, integrity, transparency and a touch of humility.
Cauldron seeks to provide meaningful and heartfelt advice to emerging creatives. Above all, the company celebrates difference – in people, approaches, skills and mindsets. The team recognise the power and potential that a new voice or experience can bring to a project. Even within entry-level positions, creatives are given a platform to work autonomously and realise their best ideas.
The company’s creative director, Fox, is a frequent visiting tutor for the Arts University Bournemouth, and an active advocate for emerging talent.
