Social Media Intern
Lauren Dickinson Clarke
Lauren Dickinson Clarke is seeking a skilled and imaginative social media intern to handle our content production and scheduling for Instagram, Facebook & TikTok. This includes posts, Reels & stories.
This creative role will include:
- Editing imagery & video with audio to produce engaging, story telling content
- Assessing current social media presence and providing insights into what works and what can be utilized to improve engagement
- Thinking outside of box to come up with new, radical and often witty content ideas which stay true to our brand pillars and aesthetic.
- Working independently as this will largely be a remote role. You may be required to come to west London 1-4 times a month.
- Creating other marketing content such as newsletters
- Contributing to team discussions
- Communicating with other team members to ensure smooth delivery of content
- Proof reading
- Working & sourcing talent to produce UGC
- Research tasks
Required skills:
- Excellent writing skills
- Experience in handling social media accounts for design led brands
- Excellent video & photo editing skills
- Excellent working knowledge of Photoshop
- Appreciation of brand guidelines, including voice & style
- Preferably working knowledge of Veed video editing software
- Preferably working knowledge of Mojo (app)
- Preferably working knowledge of Agora pulse for content scheduling or other scheduling platform
- Working knowledge of Shutterstock (using our account for access to stock footage where needed)
- Preferably good working knowledge of the rest of the Adobe creative suite
- Excellent organisation & time keeping management
- Preferably working knowledge of e-commerce platforms
- Basic skills in photography
Other requirements:
- An intuitive ‘can do’ attitude
- Eagerness & ability to learn quickly
- Ability to work at a fast pace
- Passion for social media
- Comfortable in front of the camera
- Excellent attention to detail, and detail orientated overall
- Knowledge of current pop culture happenings and current affairs
- Able to visit west London a few times a month
Education:
- Bachelor's (preferred)
Experience:
- Social media marketing: 1 year (preferred)
- Social media: 1 year (preferred)
