Studio Assistant
RCKa

Opportunity closes: 31st Mar 2023
Type: Full Time Job
Based: London
Salary: London Living Wage

Website: rcka.co.uk

RCKa is one of London's leading architectural practices, working across the public and private sector. We have a dynamic, friendly and buzzy studio in central London, close to Old Street roundabout. We work across a wide range of sectors, including education, community projects, public buildings, masterplanning and policy. We interested in improving people's lives through the buildings we design.

We are looking for a Studio Assistant to join our Creative Support Team and help with the smooth operation of the studio. This might include any of the following tasks:

  • Answering telephones
  • Managing diaries
  • Document control
  • Ordering office supplies (including keeping the kitchen stocked with snacks!)
  • Helping with marketing and social media
  • Organising events
  • Prepping meeting rooms
  • Organising trips and transport

We also want to provide space for the right individual to grow with the business, and to pursue other related interests. These might include financial management, film-making and editing, writing, graphics and desktop publishing. This is a long-term appointment, and we are prepared to invest in the right person.

In addition we provide a range of additional benefits, including an annual research trip abroad, private healthcare - and a healthy social life.

How To Apply

Enthusiasm, personality and compassion are more important to us than experience. This is an entry-level position, and we recognise that applicants may well have little or no experience working in an architectural practice. This doesn't matter! We're looking for someone who will slot neatly into our friendly studio, and is willing to learn.

Please send a brief covering letter to us at [email protected] and, if you have it, a CV. We operate a blind recruitment process, where names and photographs are removed before assessment.

We are an equal opportunities employer and are particularly keen to hear from those people from diverse backgrounds and varied lived experience.
