bandstand is an exciting creative agency (doing branding, creative communications and content creation) based in the heart of Soho, that prides itself on rebellious enquiry and fearless creativity to ignite change for our clients (who come from a massively diverse range of sectors: including energy, charity, retail, property, fintech and the public sector).

We are looking for one person* with lots of ideas, a positive, give-it-a-go attitude and bags of drive to join our brand, spanking new internship programme: Now Form A Band. You don’t need an advertising degree (in fact, we’d prefer it if you didn’t) or a slick portfolio, you just need to be passionate about problem-solving through creativity. Maybe you’re a coder in your spare time, like writing lyrics on the bus, or love filming bits of content on the weekend.

On this internship you’ll learn about the ins and outs of agency life, from receiving a client brief, to coming up with insightful strategy, to thinking up big ideas and rolling that out across different media touchpoints, to designing a beautiful new brand. You’ll be placed in the creative department but working closely with our accounts team, production department, strategy bigwigs and super smart web developer. You’ll have a chance to take over our socials, answer live briefs, research and write your own bandstand thought piece and deliver a presentation to the whole agency. Most importantly, you’ll finish the internship equipped with the skills and confidence to shake the industry up.

*Our industry needs new ideas, stories and perspectives. So, if you’ve got no experience within the creative world and are a person of colour, identify as LGBTQIA+, from a working-class background or have a disability, then we’re talking to you.

How To Apply

If this sounds like a bit of you, please email [email protected] with your CV and answers to the questions below and we’ll get back to you…
