Zine Workshop: Food
Cut Out Club

Event Date: 29 Sep 2024
Type: Workshop, Event
Based: London

Website: eventbrite.co.uk
Instagram: @cut.out.club

In this workshop, we will explore the theme of "food" through warm-up activities, creative prompts, and a relaxed block of time to make mini-zines that meaningfully reflect your thoughts, feelings, and experiences 🍇🍑🥝🍒

...did we mention there will be free-flowing snacks throughout the session? Social eating is known to bring communities together - and that's what the Cut Out Club is all about!

Food invites people to gather and gives people the opportunity to bond with each other through a shared sensory experience, which makes food an important inter-generational, global social and cultural symbol. Using the wide array of materials provided, what aspect of food will you explore to make your zine?

You do not need any prior experience to take part (though we always do like to welcome back familiar faces!) and included with your ticket is a bespoke handmade envelope full of collage cut-outs to use on the day or take home for later.

Embrace the element of chance, make new like-minded friends, join our supportive community, and most importantly – have fun delving into the zine-making process!

Still unsure about coming along? Check this to see how one of our previous zine workshops went, or read anonymously submitted feedback here from previous participants.
