We are looking to recruit a Marketing Coordinator to help enhance Imaginate’s social media presence, year-round and during the Festival, reaching, engaging and generating audiences.

Contract terms:

  • Following the cyclical nature of the Festival, the role is part-time, 3 days a week (Jan-May) and 2 days a week (June-December). Flexibility in July and August is also possible subject to negotiation.
  • The initial contract is from mid-October 2024 to the end of June 2025, with the expectation that it becomes permanent, subject to funding decisions in October.

Salary:

£27,000 p.a. pro-rata (plus 5% employer contribution to pension)
Freelance contract could be considered: Initial fee of £6,480 for 54 days between Oct-June (if renewed, yearly contract would be for 117 days with a fee of £14,040).

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the social media plan for Imaginate and the Festival.
  • Ensure Imaginate’s year-round activities are regularly featured on social media platforms and website.
  • Between March-May, ramp up content and increase engagement with family audiences ahead of the Festival.
  • Create written content, images and videos for posting on Imaginate’s social media platforms and on the website.
  • Plan, monitor and measure the impact and reach of all social media activities.
  • Keep abreast of developments and trends in social media to improve Imaginate’s presence and influence online.
  • Develop partnership opportunities online including with other arts organisations, bloggers and influencers.
  • Plan, implement and evaluate paid search and online advertising campaigns.
  • Support the delivery of key media events including press launches and photo calls.
  • Help support the Head of Marketing in delivering Imaginate’s marketing and audience development plan, incl. by reaching lesser-represented audience groups.
  • Manage the distribution of print for the Festival and Festival on tour.
