Artelier is an art advisory company sourcing, commissioning and curating artworks for a range of international projects. We are seeking a professional and conscientious individual to join our small and friendly team in Montpelier, Bristol.

Main Responsibilities:

Art Research

· Research
artists through a range of avenues, including galleries, art fairs, networks
and online sources.
· Accumulate and organise images and all relevant artist information.
· Organise, curate and refine portfolios.
· Manage and maintain a database of artists and portfolios using
Excel and image library software.
· Understand the company’s artistic scope and identify suitable
artists and research opportunities.

Client Database

· Support Artelier’s research into specific target groups to identify potential new clients to be included in the CRM.

General Office Admin

· Occasionally providing support assisting projects, this includes handling post, booking shipments and telephone enquiries.

Education and Experience:

· Educated to 2:1 degree level or higher in an arts related subject.

· Bristol-based or able to commute.

· Proven experience of focused and comprehensive research.

· A keen eye for detail and artistic quality.

· Highly proficient in Microsoft software packages including word and excel, and email applications.

· Excellent general IT and software skills, and quick to learn new software and features.

· Excellent communication skills essential for duties such as note taking and giving task updates.

· Friendly, conscientious, uses own initiative, can organise and prioritise own workload.
