About Creativity Works Podcasting
Creativity Works: Podcasting is a full-time six-week blended, immersive training programme taking place between Mon 04 July 2022 - Fri 05 August 2022.

Over six weeks you’ll learn everything you need to know about production, from storytelling to editing & presenting to growing a following and how to keep putting out exceptional content.

You'll receive training from leaders in audio and broadcasting production. The programme will combine online and In Real Life (IRL) sessions out of our physical space in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, The Good Growth Hub.

The course will include:
  • A live industry brief to produce your own 5–10 minute podcast
  • Use of a Macbook pro and the Adobe Suite for the duration of the course
  • Access to industry leaders and mentors
  • Industry talks and masterclasses as well as practical workshops

  • Recording and Editing (Sound & Quality)
  • Storytelling through Sound
  • Producing it & How to be a host
  • The Independents & The Big Platforms
  • Podcasting with Sensitivity

  • Money & IP: Making it Pay - owning your ideas
  • Press, Artwork & Promotion

Who else is involved?
Sony Music Entertainment Global Podcast Division, Migration Museum, The Podcast Show and Dialled In – the award-winning art & culture festival celebrating and showcasing the South Asian community – . We will also be working with award winning freelance producers from Jessie Ware’s Table Manners,Who We Be Talks, Vice, BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio 1Xtra, Apple Beats, 6Music. Renowned sound designers like Axel Kacoutié, broadcaster/journalist and STANCE Podcast Founder Chrystal Genesis, East London’s Dutchie Studios founder Nicole Logan.

We don’t mind about qualifications or past paid experience - we just want to see your passion and interest in the industry as well as a creative can-do attitude and desire to learn.

Other than that our only requirements are:
  • You must be 18-24 years old
  • You must be from a London borough
  • You must not be in full-time employment, education or training
