Full Fat has an opening for an enthusiastic and creative PR Apprentice looking for experience at a creative agency and an early step in a career in PR and communications. This role will support all levels of the organisation and work across the agency’s brand, lifestyle, events and food & drink clients.

This role is to support the agency teams on client campaigns, which requires good time management, organisational skills and enthusiasm for new projects. The right person for the role will be a good writer with solid spelling, punctuation and grammar skills and be a confident communicator via telephone and face-to-face. They must also be a good communicator and a team player.
The PR Apprentice must have an interest and basic knowledge of the media as well as a passion for music, entertainment, food/drink and other forms of popular culture.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
The PR Apprenticeship will provide the right applicant workplace training at Full Fat, in tandem with a Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship course in Public Relations facilitated by JGA and assessed by the PRCA. For more information on the Apprenticeship standard, you can visit here
Participation in creative meetings
Organisation of assets
Office management support
Issuing and managing press and influencer invitations
Drafting copy to a brief
Answering incoming calls and taking messages where required
Office admin duties when/where required
Maintaining mailing lists and contact databases
Packaging and sending out mailers to influencers and media for collaborations
Media monitoring, i.e. reading the daily newspapers to look for client coverage, scanning our media monitoring service for coverage
Coverage saving, i.e. scanning, screen grabbing or audio recording
Research into areas such as geographical locations, food or drink types, music genres and scenes and other trends
Contributing to PR sell ins to journalists via the phone and drafting press releases
Support for event prep and on-site
Additionally, the role may need to provide support at events which may take place over evenings or weekends, however time in lieu for such activities will be taken into account.
