Communications Assistant

The ideal candidate for this broad role will be passionate about design and architecture, have a solid interest in business and take great pride and care in their work.
A Design/Arts/Communications degree is desirable and/or at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. Most importantly, you will be highly proactive, detail oriented, hardworking, social and ambitious.
Role includes:
- Assisting with producing reports and presentation
- Creating digital content for social platforms, newsletters etc.
- Creating infographics
- Assisting with responding to press and new business opportunities
- Managing contact databases
- Updating practice website
- Creating and maintaining project collateral
- Collating curated content for bids, competitions and media enquiries
- Reviewing tender invitations
- Assisting with completing new business PQQ, RFP and EOI forms
- Assisting with award submissions
- Proofreading
- Assisting with organising and hosting events
- Being a core member of the ACME social team
Skills and experience required:
- Excellent graphic communication and presentation skills
- A natural ability to form strong working relationships
- Social Media savvy
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Excellent communications both written and verbal
- Strong literacy skills with the ability to work precisely with numbers and data
- Word, Excel – proficient
- Adobe Indesign and Photoshop – highly proficient
- Adobe Illustrator – desirable
- Photography / film / editing skills – desirable
