Job Specification: Finance Assistant

  • Reporting to: Finance Director
  • Hours: Part-time - 15 hours per week (flexible)
  • Salary: £25,000 - £30,000, pro-rata per annum (actual salary £10,714 - £12,857 for 15 hours / week)
  • Location: Fitzrovia, London – hybrid office/ remote working

Finance Assistant Requirements:

We are looking for a proactive, driven individual, who can work autonomously, but equally loves to work in a fast paced, hardworking team environment.

AUFI has aggressive growth plans, so this role would suit someone who requires the flexibility of a part time role whilst retaining a path for career progression.


Finance Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable
  • Sales invoicing and collections
  • Updating finance systems – Zoho, Xero
  • Staff Expenses
  • Banking
  • Business Reporting – weekly, monthly, annually
  • Assisting the Operations and Accounts Manager
  • General team and HR admin


Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience working in a similar finance role, with responsibilities including accounts payable and producing sales invoices etc.
  • Experience working with finance and CRM systems – such as Zoho and Xero.
  • Working towards, or having achieved an accountancy qualification such as AAT or similar. Please note that we would also consider qualification by experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office – especially Excel.
  • Experience in compiling reports and simple manipulation of data.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
