Main Duties
The role of the Part I Architectural Assistant will be to support the architectural team in the successful delivery of projects through responsibilities such as:

  • Assisting in design work, preparing drawings, presentations, reports, schedules, and other relevant documents
  • Carrying out administrative tasks relevant to the production of architectural information
  • Liaising with the internal and external teams, and clients accordingly
  • Attending client, design team and site meetings
  • Keeping up to date with developments in design, legal frameworks and construction (in relation to building design)
  • Coordinating surveys

Skills and experience required

  • Fluent in AutoCAD, SketchUp and the Adobe Suite, particularly Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Demonstrates good attention to detail and the ability to produce work to a high standard
  • Working to a brief
  • Time management and organisational skills
  • Communicates well, both verbally and through written communication
  • Works well independently and as part of a team within a professional environment
  • An ability to problem solve through thorough analysis
  • An understanding of legal frameworks
