Job Summary
Future London Academy is looking for a junior event and community manager who is looking to learn about events and has a passion for design, education and technology.

Responsibilities include
Emailing collaborators, replying to any requests, following up on conversations.
Enrolling participants on online courses.
Communicating with current participants of courses.
Booking meetings and arranging calls.
Being present on calls and making notes.
Proofreading documents and proof-watching videos.
Updating spreadsheets and internal systems.
Admin and project reporting.

Skills Needed
You should be prepared to work in a constantly changing environment, be able to learn new tools fast and be happy to be hands-on with technical tasks. Full training will be provided for all tasks and responsibilities.

Working Hours
11am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will be communicating with the internal team on various projects and will be attending internal meetings on a weekly basis. They will also be invited to external meetings with current suppliers and new suppliers.
The 4-week intensive training course will focus on
- Asana for project management.
- Zoom and Eventbrite and other technologies for managing communication, leading online and offline events.
- Writing effective emails and LinkedIn templates to invite guest speakers & sponsors.
- Coordinate marketing and SEO campaigns with the marketing team.
- Build a community of members and partners around the company product and services.

Job Prospects
We will help develop and design the candidates CV and our in-house designers will make sure they stand out. We will give guidance and tips on interviews, how to source good roles and how to apply. Finally, we will use our network to promote the young person.
