Join us for an exclusive design talk with Irish born, Melbourne based Artist and Illustrator Mark Conlan.

Known for his characteristic, whimsical style, and unique and playful colorful artwork, Mark Conlan works across illustration for products, editorial, picture books, advertising and commissions for with some of the worlds most recognisable brands, including Etsy, Adobe, Coca Cola, Air BnB and The New York Times.

Mark studied classical and computer animation at the Irish School of Animation in Dublin before moving into graphic design. He then worked for several agencies in London and Melbourne before going freelance. Although he had a creative background, he never actually studied graphic design, forging his path without any real ‘rules’ or guidelines.

How To Apply

Join us on Thursday 9th December in conversation with Mark to hear the story of his unconventional career path as an artist; from working in agencies to striking out alone, and how building a creative career without formal training gave him the freedom to carve his own route into commercial illustration.

We will invite questions from our attendees in advance of the session and choose a selection of the best to ask at the end of the talk. Don't miss this incredible opportunity to hear Mark's inspiring story and find out more about how his career has grown and evolved.

A must-watch!
