We're looking for a part-time, creative coder to work on a range of fun web projects including the first ever website for Communknitty - a social enterprise aimed at helping people from under-represented backgrounds break into the fashion industry.
Whether you have already built some cool websites or are still learning we'd love to hear from people with existing design skills, a sense of style and bucket loads of ideas and initiative.
This job is part of the government Kickstarter Scheme, applicants must be aged 16 to 24 years old and claiming Universal Credit. The role will be 25 hours per week for six months at National Minimum Wage.
What you'll be doing....
Collaborating with the creative director, team members and clients to bring beautiful websites to life
Helping design and build the Commuknitty website from scratch as well as improving existing websites (probably in Wordpress)
Looking for ways to make digital experiences engaging with animation and interaction

Has some design and or coding experience
Is creative and playful in their approach to design
Has initiative - you will think of new and better ways to do things
Is determined - if something isn’t working you’ll find a way to fix it
Has an eye for design and style
Is in tune with the latest fashion, music and cultural trends
