ROLE IN A NUTSHELL:
- A midlevel writer to partner with other creatives to develop & craft innovative and inspiring international campaigns.
DAY TO DAY JOB:
Craft and develop ideas that will take Anomaly Berlin to the next level
Write and concept big ideas for all mediums, including moving images, social interactive, content, activations, OOH, print, events, experiential, events, etc. Thinking big, then writing lots.
Understand how writing and conceptual ideas can be used to tell a story on behalf of a brand
Present ideas in a clear and focused way
Work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment with art directors, designers, strategists and account managers
Translate complex strategic approaches into easily accessible creative concepts
Cooperate with the rest of the creative team across different types of media, time zones, and offices within the Anomaly network
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
German native speaker
Advanced English communication skills (interviews are held in English)
2+ years experience in agency/in-house writing and concepting for global brands
An online portfolio reflecting strong concepting and writing in German and English
Good grammar is a must
Proficient in Google Slides
The ability for switching easily among brand voices
Thorough knowledge of current trends and pop culture
Collaborates well with others, demonstrated by partnering with an art director and other creatives to successfully brainstorm and concept ideas
Ability to communicate clearly, thoughtfully on an idea and reasoning behind creative choices
Comfortable accepting constructive feedback and able to apply it to the work
Already writing a better job description than this one
