This week, we’re bringing you a range of opportunities within different disciplines to help you access and connect with the creative industry. This includes a photography portfolio crit and scholarships in design and art, plus a scheme with the BBC to help you find your niche in radio and music. BBC Open Music Traineeship – BBC

The BBC’s Open Music traineeship scheme is designed to help participants develop new skills whilst exploring collaborations and ideas across orchestral and classical music broadcasting. As a trainee, you will take part in training sessions, masterclasses, hands-on experience and mentoring, within the areas of radio and live event production, presenting, sound recording and engineering and digital production.

Fellowships in Design and Fine Art – Stanley Picker Gallery

Based in Kingston University, the Stanley Picker Gallery’s design and fine art fellowship provides up to £16,000 to fellows – as well as access to the extensive material workshops, technical resources and expertise within the university.
