Don’t miss: Portfolio reviews, art and design scholarships plus talks on breaking into creative industries

The creative industry is constantly offering opportunities for designers, artists and general makers and doers to help them excel in their careers. Which is why, every few weeks, we share some of the best job listings, events and programmes on our Opportunities Board.

This week, we’re bringing you a range of opportunities within different disciplines to help you access and connect with the creative industry. This includes a photography portfolio crit and scholarships in design and art, plus a scheme with the BBC to help you find your niche in radio and music. We also have talks on breaking into the advertising industry and early-career journeys in illustration – and, excitingly, we’ve joined forces with our sister company It’s Nice That to bring you a special-edition Portfolio Review on graphic design and art direction.
