Graphic Design Internship – The Architectural Association

The Architectural Association is looking for a graphic design intern to assist with the creation of graphic and digital communication, with a focus on motion graphics. Having recently relaunched its studio, the AA notes how it’s an “exciting time” to join the team and inform how it communicates to a global audience.

Strategy Intern – MultiAdaptor

As an intern at branding studio MultiAdaptor, you’ll be supporting strategic, analytical, and creative thinking to solve challenges for clients on a daily basis. Their ideal candidate is a “curious and driven creative thinker, bursting with big ideas and enthusiasm”. Junior Strategy Placement – DesignStudio

On this three-month placement at DesignStudio, you will have the autonomy to shape and define your own work experience while supporting the strategy team on client projects. No degree is required, but you must be “committed to creating the highest level of work – and then some”. You can apply by answering one of four questions with a Google slideshow.

Mentorship Scheme 2022 – The Association of Illustrators

Opportunity closes: 7th November 2021
The Association of Illustrators have opened up eighteen slots for illustrators across the UK to be mentored. Mentees will have six online sessions with their mentor, setting up three goals to achieve during their mentorship. Applications are open to AOI members who are underrepresented in the illustration industry, but there will also be two spaces available for non-members who meet the criteria.

Free Mentoring – Google X Mentor Black Business

This partnership with Mentor Black Business continues the commitment Google have made to champion Black-owned businesses, as part of their #SpendBlack campaign. UK-based small businesses and charities will be paired with mentors specialising in areas including digital marketing, social media strategy, online shopping, website building and Google Analytics.

Mentoring Programme – The Arena

Opportunity closes: 15th October 2021
For the second time, The Arena are offering chances to be mentored by “some of the industry's greatest creatives”, in illustration, design, photography, marketing and more. You will be partnered up with two mentors, at different stages in their journeys and often from different disciplines, too. The programme is open to creatives based in the UK and with less than two years of industry experience.
