Free training programme for emerging filmmakers – Today at Apple Creative Studios

Applications are officially open for Fully Focused and Today at Apple Creative Studios’ training programme for emerging filmmakers. Working with acclaimed mentors Nathan Miller, Basma Khalifa, Gabriel Moses and Saba Kia, participants will learn the fundamentals of filmmaking, strengthen their directing, writing and shooting skills and create a collaborative film about what it means to belong. This year’s cohort will be made up of 10 emerging artists, focusing on emerging filmmakers aged 18 to 26, and runs from the 2nd to 26th August 2022 in London.

Digital Marketing & Production Assistant Apprentice – Buff Motion
Based: Brighton
Contract: Apprenticeship

Animation studio Buff Motion is looking for an aspiring digital marketer to join the team as an apprentice. The role is anticipated to be a 70/30 split between digital marketing and new business, production and general office support, depending on business needs and production schedules. The successful candidate will take on a digital marketer level 3 apprenticeship, as well as receive a mixture of on- and off-the-job training and monthly sessions with a training coach.

3D Product Creator – Pentland Brands

Pentland Brands are on the lookout for a motivated individual with a technical product background and experience working on fast-paced projects to join the newly created 3D team as a product creator. Responsibilities include supporting the 3D technical lead in ensuring effective creation and delivery of 3D assets, recolouring and adding graphic elements to 3D assets and digital file management.

Digital Marketing Internship – Pentland Brands

Pentland Brands are also on the hunt for a hands-on, passionate and creative digital marketing intern to join the team in Nottingham to support the growth of the Canterbury Team-wear proposition. Responsibilities include supporting the team in the delivery and development of their marketing strategy, supporting with tracking, analysing and reporting of metrics and photoshoot assistance. Must haves include a full driving license, interpersonal and organisational skills and experience using a variety of social platforms.

Moving On Up: Makin’ Moves – A New Direction

Moving on Up: Makin’ Moves is a six-week programme empowering young Black men aged 16 to 24 in Newham, London, to access sustainable careers and expand on their financial literacy. Whilst working towards gaining work placements, the programme will also provide guidance and tools to ensure long-term progression for participants, encouraging them to expand and explore financial opportunities.

The Burlington Contemporary Art Writing Prize 2022 – Burlington Contemporary

Applications are now open for The Burlington Contemporary Art Writing Prize 2022, designed for aspiring art writers. The Prize promotes clear, concise and well-structured writing that is able to navigate sophisticated ideas without having to resort to overly complex language. The winner will receive £1,000, be published in Burlington Contemporary and have the opportunity to publish a review of a future contemporary art exhibition in The Burlington Magazine.
