Interim Deputy Editor – Creative Lives in Progress

We’re on the lookout for an interim deputy editor to join us for a period of eleven months, working across the entire breadth of our editorial and social media output. The ideal candidate will have proven experience of helping to run an editorial platform and is passionate about supporting emerging creatives as they enter the industry.

Creative Lab 5 Programme – Google

Salary: £300 per day

In case you missed it, applications for the Google Creative Lab 5 Programme are now open. As a Fiver, you will be deeply immersed in the Creative Lab and work on a range of different projects, all first of their kind within Google. You will also be paired with a mentor and work closely with other creatives.

The open academy will help you find a foothold in the creative business by “introducing you to all the parts, practices and people that make it great.” Open to people over 18, there’s no experience required.

The successful candidate will develop existing client relationships, attract new business and handle commissions, while nurturing Pocko’s roster of artists. With an understanding of the current creative and cultural scene, ideally, you would have previous experience working as an agent and with CRM and Google suite.

BBC: Music Learning Trainee (STEP) – Good Growth Hub

As part of Good Growth Hub’s STEP programme, the BBC is on the lookout for a music learning trainee. The successful candidate will support the learning team to deliver live music events and community, school and youth programmes. This is ppen to people aged 18 to 30 who are residents of, and have attended school or college, in the boroughs of Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest.

Mentorship Programme – Brighton Beach House X Creative Mentor Network

Creative Mentor Network have partnered up with Soho House’s Brighton Beach House to offer 18 to 27 year-old creatives in Brighton and Hove access to mentors to help with creative and professional development.
