This week, the stage is shared by another great set of listings; alongside the DixonBaxi Intern Academy, there are junior roles on offer at Electric Theatre Collective, a traineeship at the Freelands Foundation and D&AD are offering the chance to have your portfolio exhibited!
Assistant Technical Director – Electric Theatre Collective
Based: London
Contract: Full-time
Salary: £26,000 to £30,000

Visual effects studio Electric Theatre Collective is looking for an assistant technical director to join the team. The successful candidate will assist with a range of technical support functions to ensure the smooth running of VFX projects. Responsibilities include gathering artist requirements, designing efficient solutions and coding small-scale tools.

Production Coordinator – Electric Theatre Collective

The studio is also seeking a production coordinator to join the team. As an integral part of the smooth running of the production department, the production coordinator will offer support to the producers and work to make the department run more efficiently. Responsibilities include creating and writing bids for producers, archiving 2D machines and attending client meetings.

Applications are also open for design studio Boyle&Perks’ summer and autumn internship. Based in Brighton, the team is passionate about solving problems through great design for a wide range of clients across education, healthcare and culture. The initial internship duration is three months, though previous interns have stayed on at the studio.

Freelands Foundation Traineeship – Freelands Foundation

The Freelands Foundation traineeship was created as an alternative route into working in an arts organisation. The traineeship will provide the successful candidate with hands-on training and experience, allowing them to work across a number of different departments, before choosing one team to work within for the second half of the programme.

The Stanley Picker Fellowship 2022 – Stanley Picker Gallery

The Stanley Picker Gallery at Kingston University is looking to appoint two contemporary practitioners to its 2022 fellowship – one in design and the other in fine art. Each fellowship provides up to £16,000 and access to material workshops, technical resources and expertise within the university to support a research project that will result in an exhibition at the Stanley Picker Gallery.
