Don’t miss: Art and advertising open calls, Future Lions, plus a free workshop at Tate Britain

The creative industry is constantly offering opportunities for designers, artists and general makers and doers to help them excel in their careers. Which is why, every few weeks, we share some of the best job listings, events and programmes on our Opportunities Board.

This week, we’re showcasing a range of creative opportunities, including Future Lions – AKQA and Cannes Lion’s global competition – and an open call for Artichoke, alongside the chance to be mentored by the Advertising Producers Association. This year’s theme is a call for young people to protect what is most important about our home planet – life itself. Four teams will be selected to pitch their ideas live to Volvo Cars.

Open Call for The Gallery Season Three – Artichoke

Artichoke is inviting artists aged 18 and over to apply to present artwork as part of the third season of The Gallery. Contemporary art will be exhibited in public spaces traditionally reserved for advertising to stimulate debate around important questions. This year’s theme encourages artists to ask timely questions about origin, inclusivity, belonging, transition and exchange.

Open Call: Artwork for Issue Seven – No Jobs in the Arts

No Jobs in the Arts is on the lookout for visual artwork submissions to be featured in their seventh zine. Open to early-career artists and creatives who are currently living, working, or studying in the Midlands, the theme for the issue is the environment and sustainability.
